4.2 Create and Manage PivotTables: Use PowerPivot Perspectives (Power View Reports)

Power View Reports

So far, we have created two PivotChart. The first PivotChart looks up the data in a linked Access Table: tblProducts. The second PivotChart uses a Data Model that includes tblProducts and two imported Tables, tblSpecialty and tblType.

A
Power View Report is based on the PowerPivot Perspectives. There will be one PivotChart for Boston and another for Paris.

5. Before You Begin: Change the Perspective

The PowerPivot window is still open.
Go to Advanced ->Perspective->Select.

Click on Boston.

Now, Do This: Save the Perspectives
Go to File->Save.

You will will return to the PivotCharts in Excel.

OK, Do This: Create a Power View Report

Go to Insert ->Reports-> Power View.
